Hi,
I just downloaded Inkscape and am playing around. Exquisite product!
Can somebody please advise me how I can group two objects together that are directly overlapping eachother.
I haven't found how to select them both in order to group them.
I know how to group objects, but I don't know how to select two objects that are directly overlapping.
Thanks.

Alt + click on the top object, will select the bottom object. Then release, then Shift + click again on the top object. Now both objects are selected. Then click Group.

Re: How can I group two overlapping objects?
It worked, thanks! I'll be reading up on nifty tricks, nooks and crannies. I did a few quick searches with this issue but was not served anything tasty. So thanks for your help. I've noticed lots of Inkscape clips on youtube too. With just a couple hours I can tell I'll be using Inkscape for a lot of budding ideas I've been sitting on.
