The below image shows my text reversed, this happens because of a negative value for the spacing between letters. If i put that spacing to 0 everything goes back to normal...however, every time i type it goes back to that negative value, and its getting really annoying having to change that setting every time i type. How can i set the default spacing between letters back to 0?
EDIT: And also the align is set to right. Would also like it default set to align left

Please tell us your operating system and Inkscape version, so that we can test under the same circumstances 
Also might be helpful if you can share the SVG file where this is happening.
Have you noticed it happening in other files? Or so far, just this one?
(My first thought is a stuck preference, but there's a lot to investigate....)

it happens in all files, and im using linux mint 18.1, and inkscape 0.91

Actually after i did a restart of the PC, the problem seems to have went away. Weird bug i guess.
