I think this question has already been asked on this forum but I can't seem to find it in the search engine.

I've been drawing on Inkscape, making circles, free drawing, etc. And then I want to flatten down the image so I can break it apart into pieces. How do I do that? I tried "Combine" then my image looks so distorted. The only way I know is to make a bitmap then click on Trace Bitmap, but still, my image doesn't look that sharp anymore.

What do you mean by flatten down and break apart?
