Is this program compatible with Vista Service Pack1, can finished images be imported into Microsoft Office 2007 Publisher and/or Photoshop Element 6.0? I desperately need a drawing program without spending the big bucks on Illustrator or Corel.

Well, it works on Vista. You can export a finished file as a PNG image, which you should have no trouble using in another program. I think Photoshop might even be able to read an SVG file, but you'd have to make sure you save it as a standard SVG rather then the default Inkscape-enhanced version.

Photoshop doesn't have any support for SVG, unfortunately.
