How to create transparent areas (rectangular/round) in filled rectangle ?

I wrote this article/tutorial just for you Image ...and the many other people who post messages about transparency. The section you need to read is further down in the document, halfway or further, if I recall. If it doesn't answer your question though, please reply again :D

thanks, the solution is: convert objects to paths, select all, do path->exclusion.
