Hi, I must be missing something. I created a flyer, set the correct paper size, centered everything, made sure I'm printing the actual size of the flyer and.... it moves the whole flyer about 1/4in to the left when it prints cutting some of the words and ruining the centering I did. That doesn't happen with any other programs, only with inkscape so I'm inclined to think my printer is setup correctly. Currently I've been moving my whole page about 1/4in to the right so when I print it shows up ok on the page but that's more of a hack than a fix. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Try with pdf. Export your page as .pdf and print it.
There are some issues with direct printing from Inkscape and you could find a bit more about it here on forum if you deploy that Search box, in the upper right corner.
