Some jobs for a local event

Postby jonata » Fri Mar 21, 2008 12:12 am

Hello!

I made this sticker for a local event, a kind of exposition of a little town here...

First the order was make a sticker, and here you can see the process of production...
The screen showing inkscape, next the digital printer, the sticker itself, and finally, the sticker applied.

Looks great! What file format did you use for the digi printer?

I exported in png, the printer accept better bitmaps than vectors. Then I imported the png, put the cut mark and export as a pdf, because the printer need "understand" what to cut with a vector...

Interesting. Is this something you do at work? Or is this a shop you go to?

Nice work. the first image isn't loading for some reason, but the final result looks great.

It's awesome to see Inkscape being used for this process. I started a thread called, Printing SVG's - Share your knowledge and experience, to try and create a one-stop resource for people who want to use Inkscape for print. If you have anything to contribute, please do.
