Tool Problem
Help! My Square & Rectangle tool has suddenly decided it wants to be an elipse. How do I turn it back into a square? Thanks for any input.

Squares can be made to have rounded corners, you can use the round handles to make them sharp again, or use the icon on the toolbar for it when Rectangle tool is selected 
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt

Under File/Inkscape preferences/Tools.......Tweak................."Last used style".
I think "Last used style" is selected, so Inkscape will remember the last style you use.
Last used style is what I prefer to work with, but if you don't know about it, it's a problem.
