Hi,
I'm using Inkscape to letter a comic and I've come to a tricky panel. There is a computer screen that I'd like to put the text 'Download in Progress' on. As the artist has drawn this from an angle I have to manipulate the text so it slightly smaller at the beginning and bigger at the end so that it fits in with the perspective of the screen. Any ideas how I would do this? I've attached a picture of said panel just to give you an idea of what I mean.

Re: Manipulate the shape of text
I'd make a copy of the text and convert it to path, then use that path with the Perspective LPE.

Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

TD beat me to it, with the same suggestion. But as I've done this anyway...
