I made a template of different textures and stuff.

I went online and downloaded pictures of different textures.
Then I turned them into patterns and I used the fill tool to fill my template.
After I saved it, I could open the file but nothing was actually there on file, my patterns had become invisible if you will.
How can I fix this issue and get the full picture?

What could cause the issue:
[list][*]The textures were raster images linked and not embedded, then after you saved the svg, the images were moved to another directory;
This would produce a pattern fill showing "linked image not found" images.
To solve that, you would need to embed the images instead or trace them first.

[*]The textures were embedded, but they were clipped before making them into a pattern fill.
This can produce rendering issues; to solve this use a raster editor to crop the images.
Or use the replace with raster copy -not sure if that's a good idea though, this may re-render your image.

[*]Worst case scenario, both of them was present.
