Calligraphy tool - how to get an absolute diameter?

Postby inkscapeuser » Sun Jul 31, 2011 3:43 am

Hi!

First, great program. I am just a little confused about one thing though.

I was wondering how to maintain the same brush size with the :tool_calligraphic: calligraphic tool when zooming in and out. Right now when I zoom out the brush size is based on the window, not an absolute diameter -which means that any new paths made after zooming will not match paths made prior to zooming.

Thanks for the help!

There is a setting for this in Inkscape Preferences (Shift + Ctrl + P) under Tools > Calligraphy > Width is in absolute units.
