I created a logo for a friend's company. She brought to my attention the fact that the upper-case letter 'V' at the beginning of a word with lower-case letters after it, and some upper case letters at the end, looks too small, (the way the letter 'O' would, if it wasn't extended a bit on the top and bottom). I was wondering if there was a way to fix this in Inkscape… (or is something like this only reserved for those who work with Adobe Illustrator).
I think I fixed this problem in a raster program but that doesn't solve the whole problem. I need the vector files to be corrected!
Can anyone help me with this?
Will I ever get to the point where I can start helping others with this program?

After converting the text to path (Ctrl+Shift+C when text object is selected), you can edit the characters manually.
All the letters will be inside a group, each character is a separate path, so you can even use the object select tool once you entered the group to resize some of them (press Ctrl+Enter to enter the group once the group object is selected).
