[solved] Some fonts are unavailable in version 0.92

Postby six67 » Mon Sep 25, 2017 1:52 am

Hello guys,

after installing the newest version of Inkscape I discovered that only a few of the fonts that are installed on my Ubuntu 16.04 system are available in Inkscape. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Thanks a lot!

Are you using the snap version of Inkscape?
The snap package format can't access all fonts on a user's computer.

As a fix, I'd suggest uninstalling the snap, then installing Inkscape from the ppa.
Or you could copy all the fonts you need into the user's font directory.

See https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/desktop-al ... fonts/1796
