Attribute (illustrator like)

Postby David » Fri Aug 15, 2008 8:20 pm

Hello,

Inkscape is really good, more stable, more options and more powerful...but ( yes, you'll see it...there's a "but"), If I have for example a yellow circle and I want a 2mm blue stroke AND a 4mm bruin stroke outside the blue one (colour-blind? :|)...I can do it, but it's 3 different circle...not 1 object with more that 1 stroke.
Is there a way to have that?

Thanks.

Cant be done in SVG, hence cant be done in inkscape. Sounds like it should only be 2 circles tho, 1 with yellow fill w 2mm blue stroke, and one with the brown stroke.

You can set up a radial gradient to do what you want and only use one object. I'd go for the multiple circles, though.

Hello, the easiest way to do it, it's by using the "Linked Offsets" option.
I didn't thing of it directly, but that work well.
