Time to time I need to measure/check size of a object at the drawing. For example I prepare a graphic to send it to the production and I need to check, how is a line thick.

I was looking for a tool in Inkscape to measure it. I guess there should be a tool to measure: first click is the first point, then there should be a mesured unit shown somewhere (with the snap options of course). Optional second click can end the measurement.

I failed to find the measure tool at Inkscape - that's bad ( A Graphical program without possibility to measure....

Am I wrong or An I missed something?

There's no measure tool at present. But you can measure with the Bezier tool : click and drag, read the status line, hit ESC when done (to avoiding drawing anything).
