Hi!
I am using Inkscape 0.92.3 running under Windows 7 Pro, 64-bit, Service Pack 1.
I have an image which I imported from a JPG file. The image is a fire hydrant on a white background.
How can I delete the white background so that I can paste the fire hydrant on a drawing (i.e., a cityscape) that I previously created?
Thank you!

Re: Deleting White Background
You might go away with the filter->fill+transparency->Brightness eraser:
