Objects Go Missing When Printing

Hi Guys,
Whenever I copy/duplicate these ticks to the bottom 3rd of the page they display on the screen but don't show up in printing eg pdf or on inkjet. If I make the tick very large they print fine. I have Inkscape 0.48 and I can't work out what is wrong.

The top 2 sets of ticks display fine. Attached is the svg.

Again: late in answering.

File: Downloaded.
Tick marks: duplicated and paste at the bottom of the page.
Document: sent to printer.
Result: perfect print. All tick marks appeared.
