When I first draw a bezier curve they snap to guidelines as I require. However if I later move the guidelines and would like to move the node as well, the won't snap! What's the deal? Nodes will only snap when they're first drawn?

Really I drew this guideline just so that I could draw a horizontal line. Hence it would be nice if I could get both nodes to continue to snap to the guideline. But perhaps there is another way to apply a horizontal constraint to a section of a bezier curve?

Lastly, I couldn't get the center of a circle to snap to the intersection of two lines. It seems other points on the circle would snap, but not the center.

Basically I'm just having a bit of trouble with snapping and nodes. Thanks.

Snapping buttons all have tooltips, for object center, rotation center, paths, cusp nodes, smooth nodes, intersections etc.

Yes I know that and I've been using that toolbar. I have found the center of objects snapping button now; the icon is not very apparent. Thanks!

Anyway this was a lesser concern. My main problem is getting the nodes to snap after they've been drawn.

Each section has an on/off toggle button: bounding box, nodes & paths, centers & other,

In 0.91, some of the snap behavior has changed slightly. Now you have to select cusp (or smooth) nodes to snap the nodes with the Node tool. With the Pen or Pencil tool, the points which become nodes after you finish the path, snap to other things. But once you switch to the Node tool, you have to engage Snap to Cusp or Snap to Smooth nodes.

I would reference the manual, but I'm not sure if it's been updated yet, for 0.91.
