First of all, thanks for Inkscape.

Then, I would like to know please if there is a way (maybe by console) to create as many PDFs as layers.

I am currently editing labels which are based on an initial layer plus three overlayers.

I have a tree like that :



And I have to export to PDF all of the final branches.

Based on the example picture, I need lvl3.1, lvl3.2, lvl3.3, lvl3.4, lvl3.5 (lvl1.1, lvl2.1 and lvl2.2 are useless, but it's not a problem, if necessary I can delete the useless exported files). To have the complete lvl3.1, I also need lvl1.1 and lvl2.1 (but not the other layers).

Do you want to export each layer as a separate pdf?

Then you'll have to make one layer visible at the time and then export to PDF.

I prefer exporting to PDF by File --> Save a Copy [Tab], press P two times.

I have 185 layers to export! So I would like to find a way to automate this process...

Try this:
File --> Save a copy --> choose Filetype = JessyInk zipped pdf or png output (*.zip)

But related with that there is an option to save each layer as a separate SVG, and then zip it in a rar file "Layers as a separate SVG tar"
