Inkscape won't start

Inkscape won't start

I keep getting an load error whenever I try to start the program .. I uninstalled and re-installed still not working.

I've attached the error.

(Just curious: Have there been any system or security updates by Microsoft lately? I do notice that this issue has been reported more often in the past few days, and - based on earlier such periods - the problem could be connected or occur more often after such updates).
