Simply Borders question...

Postby Cue » Tue Feb 04, 2014 8:31 pm

Help needed...

I don't know if this is too simplistic or not - but I just can't seem to find out how to do page borders...

I just want to literally border a page as in this attachment.. I imagine it's really easy to do but i've been trying out different options for a couple of hours and can't seem to replicate it.. ??

All help gratefully received.

Hi.

Inkscape page borders can be set in the document's properties tab (Shift+Ctrl+D).
That is, like adding a "window" to the svg, to define which part you can see if you open it with a browser.

Thus the image borders you refer to should be all drawn inside the page borders, to be visible.
To draw them one way, you would need a center aligned rectangle to the page that has it's duplicants with different stroke sizes set on the top of each other.
