Yes, those images you referenced can be made with some very basic Inkscape tools and features. Even if you don't find a tutorial, you could make an image up by yourself, and teach yourself about Inkscape as you go. I don't mean to imply that it would be easy, but it certainly would not require learning advanced techniques (except maybe the gradients, which I would call a beginner to intermediate skill). Plus we're here to help you along the way! Also in my signature are manuals and instructional tutorials, where you could find help. I would particularly recommend the "Quick Guide", unless you are a
complete novice. In that case, start with Help menu > Tutorials. But who knows, maybe you will find a tutorial? (If time is not a factor, some tutorials sites take requests.) (Actually I've been thinking of trying my hand at writing a tutorial, and this looks like it might be a nice basic kind of image to start on! Although again, if time is a factor, don't wait for me, lol!)
