san serif font - periods appear square??
san serif font - periods appear square??
I have used san serif font. The letters look fine. But the period is square. Thought this might have something to do with number of points but other characters are rounded. Is this something I can adjust with a setting or do I need to use a period from another font? I did a bit of searching but didn't find anything on this ...
Re: san serif font - periods appear square??
Sans Serif is not a font name, but a family name. Essentially it means "use any font that doesn't have a serif", and the font is picked up by... the OS? Not sure about that, but in other words, you might want to choose the font by name directly instead of the generic family name.
EDIT: Look here: https://answers.launchpad.net/inkscape/+question/155608, it defaults to Arial in Windows, Arial has a square dot, hence you sans serif has a square dot.
