Uses for web design?

Postby dawuddustin » Fri Nov 17, 2017 9:27 pm

What are the things that I can create from inkscape to make a webpage? What advantages will I get? Do you have any other suggestions for this too?

Mockups, Icons, SVG fonts, color schemes, SVG drawings that can be used for animations come to mind.

Extensions menu > Web

I heard of people using Inkscape for sprite sheets, although that might be more for games.

More specific questions will likely get more specific answers.

hmm...don't know what's specific about a website that you need to create. Basically, I used Innscape to create a document in a webpage size (usually 960 pixels) and make a layout/template. Then start designing in grid view, don't forget to create an export layer to slice an image into multiple pieces.
