whenever i post, it says: "#inkscape :Cannot send to channel"

i thnk that means that it's a moderated channel? so how do i get a voice? i have a few questions.

Hhhm, if it's moderated, then maybe you just need to wait for moderation to take place? If it's been a couple of days, then maybe the question was inappropriate for that type of forum (iow was moderated and not approved). Or you could ask your question here. No guarantees we can answer it, but I suppose the same is true on the IRC. Other than that, I've not really tried to use the Inkscape IRC, so I'm not sure.

you gotta register with:

/msg NickServ REGISTER some_password your_email

but it was very confusing, because no where does it say you need to do this. it just says welcome. like in all that text that shows up, or on the website where it says here is our irc room go meet us there... no where it says this.
