Show center markers in circles

Postby TS00 » Sun Apr 29, 2012 7:04 pm

Hi all,

I'm creating a technical drawing where I need to show the centers of all my circles. I can do this manually by drawing them in, but I wondered if there was an automatic way of achieving the same - is it possible to display the centers of circles?

Thanks!

You can snap to center of objects when you're drawing the symbol to represent the center of the circle. I don't know that anything would show circle center automatically.

If you click twice with the Selection tool (not technically a double click because that will engage the Node tool) (or enter the group, if it's a group) the rotation center will be displayed. But the rotation center is not always the center of the object. I guess if it's a true circle though, they would be the same??

Note that you can snap to the rotation center, as well as the object center. So be sure that only the option you want is engaged on the Snap control bar :D
