I'm going to try to word this request well enough that I won't need to upload and link to a sample image. But if I'm not successful, please let me know, and I'll be glad to upload a sample image.
For example, I might have 2 squares, rotated 45 degrees, so that they look like 2 diamond shapes. (I'm pretty sure it would be 45 degrees, but whatever, they're diamonds.) Then I overlap the 2 diamond shapes, creating a 3rd diamond shape where they overlap. Is there any way to select the overlapped diamond shape?
I'm guessing the answer is probably 'No', so my next question -- how is the best way to accomplish this? And again, I'll take a guess, that you change the 2 rotated squares into paths, and then take the Intersection of the 2 paths. Is that more or less the idea?
Thanks for your help
