Hello,
I've created a background template (A4 size) of multiple hops, which I then printed off using my labels template (A4 size - 21 labels).
The beer bottle labels I created in Inkscape and then printed onto the background template, my problem is that the background hop images are visible through the beer labels (see attachment).
Not sure if this a problem that's easily solvable but any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you

Re: Background Visible
First, I'd check the layer opacity on all the objects.
For redundancy, an opaque white filled oval can be placed behind all.

Have a nice day.
I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1
The Inkscape manual has lots of helpful info! http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/

Re: Background Visible
I`m not sure, but his description sounds like we have two printing passes here. First hops were printed and then the label, over the hops? Right?
Is there a reason why you didn`t arranged it all in one file, and then printed all together?

Re: Background Visible
That's correct Maestral I printed the labels on top of the already printed hop background.
My label template is 21 individual cells with borders so whatever I inserted would fill just 1 cell. In saying that I could use my hop background doc, insert the beer bottle image, size and position correctly for printing and then copy and paste to fill the page.
I would then have a template where I could just replace the bottle images with new ones (as long as they stay positioned correctly).

Re: Background Visible
Bare in mind what Tyler said for final processing, but before that try with a blank page of regular paper.
It has to be up to the printer settings, so try with that sheet of plain paper and just a basic shapes to establish desired positioning, and when you prevail - make the desired ones!
I`m sucker for beers with this type of illustration on labels ,)))

Re: Background Visible
Thanks Guys, just tried a dummy run and it's turned out fine, no trace of the background image coming through. I've got to sort out the positioning for printing but shouldn't be a problem.
The beer itself wasn't one of my better ones but at least it'll have a nice label. Again many thanks for your input.
