Polygon Boundary

Postby Elala » Thu Jul 25, 2013 5:17 pm

Hello everyone.
Can anyone help me with one problem: I had to do some school project and a had draw several polygons, using :tool_rectangle: and then i had duplicated them. I Used them for making legend, and then i realized, when i used in 'Align and distribute', order Remove overlaps, that boundaries of my polygons (when they are selected) are not the same as boundaries of area of polygon. So The main problem is, that i can't put those rectangle polygons together in line. Please help me, how to do those polygons, so their boundaries will be the same as boundaries of drawn areas.

I hope, that U will understand me what i want. And I know, that my English is quite bad, so sorry about that. :)

Hi there,

you may remove the outlines from those object before using the align and distribute panel,
or
change the bounding box setting to geometry at File>Inkscape Preferences>Tools>geometric bounding box.
