serena@ghost - another web comic using Inkscape

Postby xentalion » Thu Feb 19, 2009 2:24 am

Hello everyone,

I've been writing a webcomic that uses inkscape for the artwork, called serena@ghost. It's oriented to free and open source software geeks (lots of anti-Windows humour). Each comic is licensed under the GNU GPL v3, so if you want to see how I did something, you can download the svg and take it apart. You probably wouldn't learn much though

The comics are located at http://www.xentalion.com

Thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated :)

Thank you

Example comic: Comic #42

I also have an obscure webcomic, drawn using Inkscape. It's Robotpony.ca, and here's an example flowchart:

FWIW, I use Adobe Illustrator for work and I prefer Inkscape (and use it for all of my personal projects and clients) ... it's an amazing vector tool, with a well tuned set of keyboard and mouse bindings. Well done!

 madmaxx, I've subscribed to your RSS feed.

We need a topic for obscure comic artists who use inkscape :D

Thanks, and I added your feed as well.

It would be interesting to see what other Inkscape comic authors are doing (mine are so basic) ...
