Hi, I'm using Inkscape 0.46 on Windows 2000 Pro. Whenever I try to change the font while typing, it deselects whatever I'm working on. Then, when I reselect, it goes back to the same font every time: Sanserifing. If I select the typing tool and pick the font before clicking in the work space, when I click to make a text box or place the cursor, it reverts to Sanserifing. I have no Idea why it chose this font either, it's not default or anything like that on the computer.

Any help? I fully appreciate it.

known bug. you have to type your text then change the font using the text tool dialog.

I've tried typing the text and then changing the font. That doesn't work either..

you're not using the dialog. you're using the toolbar. you have to opne the dialog box to change the font.
