I had a logo made and have opened/imported the .eps file with no problem. When I "Save As". or "Save A Copy" to png, the resulting file contains the 'Text' part of the logo but the 'graphic' part of the logo is missing. What could be the problem here? Some setting somewhere?

Hi.
Try the export to png instead, which way you can set the resolution as well and can have transparency in the png.
If it doesn't work either, post a sample file here.
If the eps is structured as the usual pdf-s, there could be some complicated solutions used that might not render fluently.
(For example the pictorial mark might be a clipped group, used as a fill on a clipped rectangle.)
