Simply writing

Postby katun89 » Sun Jan 09, 2011 11:45 am

Hi everyone,

I simply wrote a word with inkscape.
Browsers won't display correctly my svg file. What am I missing? (See the attachment).
Thanks anyway :)

Currently Internet Explorer does not display SVG at all. Other browsers display SVG in a limited way.

Microsoft is planning to offer limited support with IE9. But until then, it's probably best to use PNG (in Inkscape > File menu > Export Bitmap)>

Don't use 'Flowed Text' [1] if you intend to publish the drawing as SVG file (use regular text, especially for such a short logo text where you have no need to for reflowing):

[1] when creating new text objects, do not click-and-drag, just click once and enter the text right away.
