I am at wit's end. Whenever I use the text tool, the text comes out "outlined". I've looked for hours for some kind of setting that I've accidentally turned on, but for the life of me, I can't find it. No matter what font I choose, no matter what size, I get outlines, as if I did a "object to path" operation. But the outline-looking text objects are not paths, they are text objects. Here is what some Consolas text looks like:

Anyone know what might be wrong? It's version .47 on XP. I have rebooted.

I woulad assume that the text has stroke set. Just set stroke width to None, and set fill to desired color. I have a feeling that this behaviour has changed in 0.47 since I often have the same "problems".
