Hi everyone,
I'm not very good at drawing but i was trying to create an animation of water in profile view. I only need the top part of the water to be animated and the rest will be static. I created an animation by creating a wave and moving it left and right but the motion doesn't look very water like. I don't know exactly how to describe the problem, so i'll post the animation here. I'm not looking for someone to do this for me but maybe give me a few hints on how to get the motion to look more water like.
I also want it to be an infinite loop.
Thanks

Re: Water animation in profile view
I think it does look like water. It's just that I can't think of any situation where water goes back and forth like that. What if it just moved in one direction, and didn't start flowing back the other way? Also maybe slow it down some....but that really depends on what you're simulating.

Re: Water animation in profile view
Thank you for your advise. I followed what you said and the animation looks a lot better. I have this on a black background with the alpha channel set to 100 and i really achieved what i was trying to do.
Thank you once again.
