I was just doing some Inkscape-related googling, and came across this forum:

which is said there, to be an interface for the mailing list.

As I've sought help on this forum (inkscapeforum.com) over the last year or 2, while trying to learn how to use Inkscape, it's been suggested from time to time, that I contact developers on the mailing list. However, I can't handle the volume of email generated by subscription to mailing lists, which leaves me somewhat in a pickle, from time to time. (I do know about Launchpad for reporting bugs and new feature requests.)

So is this newly discovered forum (inkscape-forum.andreas-s.net) a reasonable way to contact developers, in lieu of subscribing to the mailing list?

The other option is nabble.com that site let's you access the mailing list like a forum too.

I wonder if it might be helpful to put one or both of these in the Official Inkscape Resources topic?

A topic for those sites existed (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4&p=4&hilit=nabble#p4) but I'll add them to the sticky topic.
