Export exceptions

Postby markjensen » Tue Feb 08, 2011 3:29 am

Hey :)

Is it possible to add a flag or something to tell inkscape that I want it to show a specified object during editing, but it should not export it?

I'm going to use the invisible objects for defining export areas. Is there a better way?

Mark

Edit: The way I do it now is by selecting the object, make it invisible, export and make it visible again. It's okay if you do it a couple of times, but if you are going to do it many times, it becomes tedious.

Sadly, not yet. Another hackaround is using layers.

Yeah, that would probably be easier. At least a little. Do you know if this is on the wish/bug list (since you say "not yet")?
