Color picker for people with color blindness?
Are there any colour pickers that take into account different types of colour blindness? It'd be great if the color picker warned me if the color scheme that I've chosen may not be good for people with color blindness

Scribus has such a color picker, and there are probably stand-alone ones you can find. What platform are you on?

I make some inscape filters a while back that simulate colour blindness: http://www.openclipart.org/detail/22299
You should be able to either import it into inkscape and use the filters, or open it up, and edit the top box.

I'm using Ubuntu Linux. I've used Gpick and was recently introduced to this website but I'm really after a desktop application (for when I'm not connected to the Internet) that can generate color schemes but also has an option to simulate color blindness.
Have you come across an application that can do that?

Re: Color picker for people with color blindness?
Just to let you all know I've used several color pickers and so far it looks like only Scribus can do this (more info on color pickers here. I've added a bug report to Gpick and a bug report to Inkscape to address this issue.
