Hi.
Shortkey for object to path: Ctrl+Shift+C,
stoke to path: Ctrl+Alt+C.
After stroke to path command the stroke is turned to be a path with a fill but no outlines.
Thus once stroke to path was done, you already have a path.
You cannot effectively reproduce the original path once the strokes were turned to be a new path in most cases.
