This is my chrome-text according to heathenx. I made it a slightly different, because the meager font and the scissors in the text didn't allowed certain steps. I had to ungroup and group a several times, used Outset instead of Dynamic offset and so on. When I was ready and proud, moved the text and : it changed color! You can see here.

This is 2 different text with duplicates. Every text had the same color originally. They change, according to positions.

I remember it happened to me too but I don't remember exactly what it was.

It was probably something about moving the masked objects, or maybe gradients didn't move together with the object...

The text didn't change colour, rather the position of the gradient changed relative to your text.

When using you'll notice on the tool control bar there are a group of four small buttons on the far right. The third one along effects if the gradient will move when you move the object. Teh tooltip for it says "Transform gradients (in fill or stroke) along with the object". Make sure this button is selected when you move your text.

Unbelieveble! I beleived, it was a bug! InkScape is perfect.
And what is this? I cannot it find in InkScape.

Thank you! I have too much fun with 0.45 and I need a life even outside Inkscape and the computer So I don't want play around, becouse I cannot stop it. But as soon as it will be stable I shall download and enjoy it.
