Inkscape installation in Redhat Linux 2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64!

Hi,

We are new to inkscape and would like to install the package in Redhat Linux v2.6.32-431.23.3.el6.x86_64!. We tried using RPM package and install it, but it is asking for many dependency installations.

Is there a better way of installing it. We could see that installing from "yum" is easier, but it says we do not have inkscape package in yum.

Can you help us how to add inkscape to "yum" package. Or any other alternatives for installing it.

Well, uhm. Inkscape has many dependencies. If it asks for those during installation, that's probably justified.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
