
I am both new to the forum and to Inkscape, but do have a tiny bit of experience with design and vector-graphics based applications.
I tried to do a simple exercise project to get me started with Inkscape, and encountered the following problem:
When designing a little bird, whose shapes are in accordance with the golden ratio, I got the following a result:

Now, as you can probably tell, there are transparent pixels in that png where there should not be any.
The bird came to be like this:

So when removing the strokes from the version on the bottom right, it ended up leaving gaps between the shapes.
How do I go about abolishing those gaps?

I'd be grateful for any advise on this
