Change Default Settings in Trace Bitmap

Hello,
I consistently use one set of setting when using the Trace Bitmap > Mode Tab

Radio button on Colors
Scans 2
Uncheck Stack Scans
Check Remove Background

Is there any way to just change these to the defaults that anyone knows of?

Change the default settings in the C++ code, compile Inkscape - that would be the only way I know of.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
