Inkcut v1.0 usb device properties not saved

Postby damianleuthold » Fri Jun 24, 2011 7:33 am

Hello,

I am wanting to start working with v1.0 of inkcut rather than v0.1 but the device (a uscutter pcut plotter) does not get saved or activated. For v1.0 under Device -> Properties I set the port to the same settings that are currently working for v0.1(/dev/ttyUSB0, 9600, 8, 1, RTS/CTS). When I click 'test connection' there is no response and when I save no device is listed.

I have given the entire ~/.config/inkscape/extensions directory 775 permissions, still nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks
D

It's been a while but I have the same exact problem. It desn't seem to work on USB0 in my pc but I have no idea on what port it works.

Any ideas? Please.
