Hello guys, in our italian forum one customer asked for, how is possible to switch between cmyk to pantone.
He tried to modified one file pdf from Illustrator(I guess)but when he tried to print the file the black colour was like grey.
I suggested to him to use the colour profile Srgb and use the CMS dialogue as I think is the better one in this case.
He found the solution , use the export file in eps. But if the file is a gradient or trasparency I think is not the best solution.
Any other trick?
Here the topic just in case

Re: Best solution for CMYK to Pantone
Inkscape doesn't support spot colors yet, and I don't think it will do that natively any time soon, given how little is being done on that front in Cairo which we use for saving PDF. So it really doesn't make sense using Inkscape for editing AI files that use spot colors.
