Im trying to follow this tutorial here, but I can't find the effects for bend path "left bend path", "right bend path", "top bend path" bottum bend path" as shown in the video. I have the option of adding a path effect and I can just choose "bend path", but that's it. No bending the top, bottom, left or right.

How do I get these effects to appear in the path editor? I have tried both 0.48, 0.91 and 0.92, but it makes no difference. The video is done with inkscape 0.48 on a Mac however, and I am using Windows. Is these features missing from the Windows versions, and only available in Mac version?

Thanks for any help.

Well, I'm pretty confused what you're asking. What tutorial? Your link doesn't seem to be working.

The bottom image (GOLD) has the Bend LPE applied to it, and not Envelope Deformation LPE. The top image has Envelope Deformation applied to it (and not Bend LPE).

If you want all 4 options (to bend top, left, right, bottom) for the bottom (GOLD) image, then you need to remove the Bend LPE, and apply Envelope Deformation LPE.

Fyi, for the future....or well, it might still work now. The last message that you post is removable. Look for a small X button right beside the edit button.

I'm not sure if that ability is lost over time. But I know that within 5 or 10 minutes, at least, after you post an image, you are able to remove it.
