Problems exporting work to PDF and keeping transparency

Hey guys,

I'm pretty new to inkscape and I have tried coming up with some artwork as a little project.

This is a screen grab from within inkscape.

I have now finished but when I try to export the work as a pdf file (so I can print it in multiple sizes without losing quality) any transparency I had in the work is changed into opaque objects.

Now I know I can export it as a PNG file without any real issue but that won't allow me to printing freedom I'm after.

Anyone got any ideas to try help me out here? Much appreciated!

PDF should support transparency, so it might be worth sharing your original or a test file.

I'm using Inkscape 0.92.2 (5c3e80d, 2017-08-06), 64 bit win8.1

It might be a blending mode-filter not rasterized in the saving.
Although I did experience similar issue before with transparency only -either if it was an object opacity or lowered alpha in the fill, not sure, but one of the two worked.

Which version of Inkscape are you using? In version 0.91, there was a problem with transparency when exporting to PDF. Version 0.92 has just been released, and as far as I know it's fixed now.

I'm using 0.91 currently, I will download the 0.92 update and see if that helps with the issue!
