Transform/scale and fill

Postby munk2020 » Tue May 17, 2011 6:08 am

I have been using inkscape in order to generate svg and then parametrize the svg in order to make it dynamic. I can easily create a closed path in svg and then scale/transform it in order to inset the original path (e.g a circle inside of a circle). My issue comes when I try to fill just the space between these two rectangles because it is 2 separate paths. Is it possible to keep this as one path/subpath?

Any ideas?

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

Yes, just select both paths, then Path menu > Combine. That will make them 2 subpaths of one path.
Also, please note the info in my signature for some places where you can learn much more!
