Hello,
I have read the Mac section of the FAQs and searched the forums, but I can't find an answer to this question. I would like to select multiple objects for grouping on a Mac (running OSX 10.7.3, aka Lion, in case that helps). How do I do that?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

If I understand your question correctly, all you need to do is hold down your left mouse button and drag over all the objects you want to group, then hit Control-G (not command-G, unless you've swapped that around in your X11 preferences).
You can also select a single object with the left mouse button, and HOLDING DOWN Shift, select more objects, then hit Control-G to group them.
