Snap.svg - an animation tool for svg in the browser

Postby samueldellicour » Thu Oct 31, 2013 1:13 am

Not sure if someone mentioned this in the forum, but here goes.
An interesting tool for web designers/developers: A javascript library built for coding SVG animations for the web:
http://snapsvg.io/
Check the demo video. You can use drawings made by Inkscape for example. For modern browsers (IE 9+). Open source, released by Adobe...

Hello,

Thanks for sharing that information.

I have to say that it's perfectly possible to do an animation with the present tools of Inkscape. Mainly the Interpolation extension.

I'm also expecting to see more animation.
If you have problems:
1.- Post a sample (or samples) of your file please.
2.- Please check here:

Wow some really interesting stuff here.
Have you noticed the dice at the demos?
So -is it time to take 3D rendered to svg in a live way?
A free alternative to swift3D?

I just posted this in its own thread, but since it's relevant I'm posting it here too.

I created a character creator from drawings I've done in Inkscape and I've built a website around it. It uses Snap.svg to display the appropriate vectors depending on the visitor's selection.
